Last Minute trip next week (March) 11-15 (2009) need help.
Hey I need some help from fellow mousers to find a good hotel deal. I found cheap fares from seattle. I have a bro in law in the marines stationed down there and going to see if he can get us tickets for the three days. Any info you got would be great. The wife and I need a couple of days away from school.

What's your price range? What kind of a hotel are you hoping to find? We are staying next week at Park Vue Inn for $73 a night. Hope it helps! I'm sure we will pass each other in the park next week - Have Fun!

Priceline. Go for 3 stars. You should get Doubletree, Hilton, Hyatt, or Crowne Plaza.

Depends on what you think a "cheap hotel" is. We usually stay at the Anaheim Plaza. It's clean, comfortable, and close enough to walk to the parks. I can be a huge hotel snob, but at Disneyland I'm only using the room to sleep and shower so I don't need extras. The staff has always been very nice to us and I will continue to stay there.

Park Vue Inn is a decent hotel.
Not sure what you classify "cheap".

Whatever hotel you choose, I advise that you pick one that's within walking distance to the park. There are actually quite a few. You will love having the ability to go back to the hotel during the day and you'll especially appreciate it at the end of the day -- no waiting for trams, no getting out of the parking lot and having to drive back to the hotel. (I stay at the Fairfield Inn but the rates are not cheap right now.)

No problem! I really do live the Anaheim Plaza! We are not staying there for our next trip and I'm sad about it.

I have to second the Anaheim Plaza. It has always been clean and the staff has always been really nice. We have stayed there for about 5 or 6 out of our last 9 trips. For us the hotel is just some where to go and sleep. We have always stayed in a king room and this last time it was my husband, our DS (22 months at the time), our DD (3 months at the time) and me. We had more than enough room for a pack n play and a co-sleeper for our kids. Even wit all that and our luggage there was still plenty of room to walk around the room. Good luck with what you decide.

Anaheim Plaza Hotel
I am going to also recommend the Anaheim Plaza. It's a great place for just sleeping and showering. And the price is usually great too.
I stayed at the Desert Inn the last year that I went (got a decent price), and was finding I missed the Anaheim Plaza even tho it was a little further down Harbor.
