Personally, I like Congress Park. It has a nice pool area and it is walking distance to DTD. Never had a problem with bus service, unlike the stop at The Springs which gets rather busy. Its also not a bad walk to the main building either.
The search function is like the Force. It may take practice, but the more you use it, the more control you will have over it!
Thank you for the info I had been told to request the Springs so I will change that!! Please keep all advice coming!!
Well, dont change your plans unless you think that it will fit your needs better. If you want close access to the feature pool, the restaurants, and different activities and community hall, then the Springs is still a very good choice.
The nice part about the Springs bus stop is that in the morning there are usually CM's there that will call in for additional buses if it seems like the demands call for it.

I'm staying at Saratoga in May for the first time. Are the two bus stops serviced by two different buses? I'm assuming so because you mentioned that one stop is busier than the other.
Also, which area offers a view of DTD?
Each bus stop in Saratoga is serviced by the same buses. Each Major park & Downtown Disney have buses that run through the resort all day long. Each bus that comes in stops at each section of the resort before leaving the resort and going on to the destination.
I think the Water Parks share a bus with another bus, I think maybe the DtD bus...

The bus route doesn't take that long at all. In fact, if your section is farther from the main pool, etc. you can grab any park bus from the bus stop closest to your building, because the Springs is the last stop. The exception is the Downtown Disney bus, which stops at the Springs first. We have stayed in different sections, and there are pros and cons to each, but location has never been that big a deal to us. If the kids just want a dip, the quiet pools are really nice, and a quick walk from the other buildings.
We stayed in Congress Park. We were concerned about it being such a large resort. Don't fear...the multiple bus stops will solve all those problems. I have two more visits this year there. I am not concerned where we will be now that I saw how well the bus system runs. We had no problems getting to anything. Have a great time and it will work out.

I think it depends on what you're there for. My most recent trip was all about R and R. I am not a pool person. I was placed in the furtherest Grandstand building and loved it--so quiet and peaceful. If I was there with kids I'd want to be in closer in to the main building to enjoy High Rock Springs pool as well as the Grandstand pool.
Last time we stayed in the Paddock and I really liked that too.
If I go down, I'm going down fat and full.
