Walk from Quality Inn on Katella?

    Hi all,

We are looking at staying at the Quality Inn and Suites on Katella. It used to be the Travelodge. Its near Stovalls and Alamo Inn and Suites. Is this a 'walkable' hotel? I assume it would be best to walk up Disneyland Drive to Downtown Disney, then to the entrance plaza, but is that correct?

    Thanks!

Its walkable. Its about a mile. Best bet is to cut through teh Grand California.

We walk from that area all the time, and yes cut through the Grand Californian, otherwise it adds a lot cause you have to walk completely under DtD and to a walkway that goes alongside the tram route.

You can do it but I wouldn't recommend it. We have stayed at Annabella and, while I really like the hotel, it is just too far to walk. The first trip isn't too bad, but you can't run back to the hotel and at the end of the day it is miserable. I didn't think it would be that bad, but after DH and I stayed there for our anniv. we cancelled our reservations at HOJOs in order to stay at BWPPI. We decided the savings wasn't worth it. I definitely wouldn't do it with kids either. JMO.
