Dream Suite
Happy New Year, everyone! I've been out of the Disney loop for several months now and was just wondering now that the Year of a Million Dreams is over, what are they doing with the Dream Suite? I did some searching, but didn't find anything, so forgive me if this has been discussed ad nauseum already.

I haven't seen anything about it, however I won tickets to a private part with KOST 103.5 here in LA for a holiday kick-off party in Novemeber and one of the grand prize drawing items was a stay in the Dream Suite this year sometime. So maybe they are planning to awaard stays there differently for 2009.

I don't know about DL but WDW had bridal win a stay at the Dream suite contest as part of their wedding promotions.

There is a sweepstakes going on right now where you can win a three night stay at DLR, with two nights in a "princess themed" room at the hotel, and one night in the dream suite.
you can register online
I think it ends on Jan 31, and you have to enroll in the Disney Movie rewards, but thats free and just takes a minute.

I'm just hoping that they make it available to the public to reserve for at least a night by the time I get married... or at least like, a perk if you do the wedding in front of the castle...

Last time I checked that package a couple years back for my wedding, it was $45,000 to do that in font of the castle. You'd think since not that many people seem to go with that package that they could toss in the Dream Suite!

Yuuup, I periodically check & inform my dad to be prepared
. of course, if Cinderella's Castle Suite becomes an available reservation, it might be hard to decide...

Happily Ever After with my Prince.
Off topic, but if your interested in a Disney wedding and are willing to go to WDW, its a lot cheaper.
We had our wedding there in May 08, not in front of the castle, but did do early morning photos in front of the castle and other places in the park and the photos are breath taking and it was a blast to do them. Our photographer was great and had us laughing and having fun the whole time.
If anyone is interested in info, let me know.
On topic, that would be cool if they added that to their wedding package.
