Yeah, I sometimes find some acronyms to be excessive. Can't be that hard to type a few extra letters.

Sorry for the shorthand! I was used to seeing it when I worked in Food & Beverages. Guess I should have explained what it was.

Oh its not a big deal, I was just making a general statement because almost every attraction/restaurant/area has an acronym around here. I know most of them, but I didn't know that one

One of our favorite places just to relax a bit is the Carnation Cafe. The service is good and the waiters are fun to chat with besides the food is quite decent. We like eating breakfast or lunch there at least once a day while we are in Disneyland.
I also like the Blue Bayou restaurant because Pirates is one of my fav rides but only when we have time, with a 4 year old I'm always running around or heading back to the hotel. At the Californian Hotel, our absolute favorite is Storyteller's. Also, my son and I really like the Bakery by the Winnie the Pooh ride (I forgot the name of it) for sweet treats! Good thread!
Ok, that's just silly.
Full service: Napa Rose. No question. Best restaurant in Orange County.
Buffet: Goofy's Kitchen.
Fast food: Golden Horseshoe. How can y'all forget the giant onion rings, the huge-mongous chocolate cake and the fantastic Billy Hill and The Hillbillies shows while you eat?
I definitely need to be trying more places to eat... apparently I am missing out on good times at the Carnation, Hungry Bear, & the Vineyard Room (although I'm waiting til I turn 21 to get the full experience).
But, nonetheless, I do have favorites of my own...
full service:
Blue Bayou -- for the creme brulee &, of course, ambiance
buffateria:
used to be Taste Pilots' because I loved the touch screens, but those are gone, so French Market -- I absolutely love bread bowls & all that they hold.
fast food: (tie)
corn dog cart on main street -- guilty pleasure & will stay warm if I throw the bag in my tote for an on-the-go meal
stage door cafe -- great theme & good location to grab my chicken fingers kids meal (the color change straws are an excellent souvenir) to eat while in line for Indy or watching Fantasmic.

They don't have the stew but they still offer a bread bowl with clam chowder as part of the soup/salad combo.
Does French Market use the bread bowls from the Boudin bakery across the way? If not, that's a shame. Boudin bread is the best.
For me it's hard to just pick one place to eat for each of the following because it really all depends on what my girlfriend and I are in the mood to eat. But here is my favorite 3 -
Full Service - Blue Bayou : I have loved eating here since I was a kid and now that I'm older I love going here to get away from the busyness of the park and have a nice romantic meal for two.
Buffateria - Pizza Port : Great selection of food and you can get your meal really quickly.
Fast Food - Bengal BBQ is great for a nice snack to eat on the go but nothing really beats a huge turkey leg from one of the food carts in the park.
I can't wait till my next trip to Disneyland!
Full Service: Napa Rose -- Chef's Counter -- no question. It's my very favorite restaurant. I can't go there enough.
Buffeteria: Don't really eat as these restaurants much but I do like Storyteller's -- although we haven't been there since they changed the menu but it's fun to watch the kids with the characters -- Goofy's Kitchen too.
Fast food: Smoked turkey leg.
For my children I would say Ariel's.
Fast snacks we like fresh fruit like the pineapple pieces.
For my hubster and myself I would say Napa Rose.

They do use Boudin bread bowls, as do Royal St. Veranda and Coke Corner. I worked at all three last summer, and in one instance we almost ran out over at Veranda and had to steal some from Market, then all the way from Coke Corner.

Carnation Cafe - Request a sidewalk table and you are in the heart of all the Main Street activity. Watch the parade from your table if you are having a late lunch.
Buffeteria:
Plaza Inn - Beautiful environment. "Old World" Disneyland at its finest. Have a Cobb salad made special to order with all the fresh ingredients presented beautifully in rows on top.
Fast Food:
How can this thread have gone on this long without someone mentioning the Dole Whip stand at the Tiki Room courtyard?

I am surprised that no one has said that they like the Tomorrowland Terrace. This, I think and I could be wrong, the only fast food place that has healthy options as well. Their turkey sandwich is good and I love their fruit plate. Plus, you can hear a rock concert on certain nights durng te summer.
All across DL and DCA, what is with those hamburger buns? They would be great for target practice.
