I haven't seen any recent threads about the wait times for Toy Story Mania
and Nemo. Does anyone know what type of wait is expected throughout the day at these attractions?
Much appreciated!

Went on Toy Story last Sunday, Aug 31st (Labor Day Weekend) in the afternoon...around 6:00pm...and the wait was around 45 min. Went about a month ago...no special weekend and the wait then was also 45 min.
We were at DL last Tuesday (8/26) and the wait for Nemo was about 40 minutes at about 8:00pm.

Is there a height or age requirement for Toy Story Mania?
No but they must be able to sit upright by themsleves. Less than 4 and I'd squeeze them between two adults. Note that someone will not then have their own gun, and the game/ride is not much fun without one. Note also that children under 4 or 5 have very little success with the gun anyways. Personally I wouldn't take them unless I had no choice, like noone to watch them whiel you ride.
My three year old loves Toy Story...and he is a great competitor! He just thinks it's cool that he figutred out how to shoot the gun. Doesn't matter if he hits anything!
We also take our 10 month old. Once she rode between two adults....that worked great. Last weekend I sat with my 3 year old and my husband sat with the 10 mounth old. He had no problems with her there and actually scored higher than me. I have no idea how since he had to hold her in the seat too!
The ride moves kinda fast when it goes between the games so you have to hold on to the little ones sometimes, but I think it's fine to take them on.
Actually, I proved this theory wrong a few weeks ago. I saw lots of people in line carrying babies and so I thought what the heck, worse case we'd get a rider switch. I walked right up, got in a vehicle, sat her on my lap, and the guy came and put my lap bar down, even did it very gently to be sure the baby had room. No problem. And she does not sit up at all on her own yet - she's only 5 months old. I will say it was a little jerky a la Roger Rabbit. Not sure I'll take her on it again for a while. It was no big deal, I hugged her tight when we turned, but the first one caught me off gaurd.
Also, the 2 times I'd ridden it, the line said 60 minutes and I got through it in about 30.

Just got back from a quick trip to DLR this weekend. We waited about 20 minutes on Saturday (9/6) for Toy Story Mania. This morning (9/7) we only waited 10 (!!!) minutes for Finding Nemo! Amazing. We walked by and saw the short line. I asked the CM about the wait time. He shrugged and said "Can you believe it? Only 10 minutes." Of course, we quickly got in line! Yippeee. We didn't have to run anyone down to get in line!
Oh, and we LOVED Toy Story Mania. What fun! Of course my kids who play Wii Carnival did a lot better than I did!
Hey all, I was just wondering if anyone knew how long the lines at TSM have been recently. When is the best time to go check it out? How are the lines on say a Tuesday afternoon? Thanks.....
I rode it a week ago Sunday, and the wait was 40 minutes long. (I know, because I was the person they asked to time my wait, and then they adjusted their wait time sign accordingly.) I would imagine the time would be even better on a Tuesday afternoon.
I rode it on Saturday and it only took me 15 minutes....well....did I mention I was there by myself and used the single rider line. Incidently, the regular line was 45 minutes. What irked me was the fact that many people were abusing the single rider line. Couples and groups were in it willing to break up to stand in the shorter line. I put this there with Express Lane Abuse at the grocery store...15 or less is 15 or less...not 50 tins of cat food counting as 1 item.
Saturday 8/2 the line fluctuated from 20-40 minutes, we rode it 4 times
I feel like the line goes really quick either way, it's not one that drags, you are in constant motion...
Your mileage may vary on this. My daughter was three when we started riding the game during the pre opening preview. She's smaller than most kids her age, but she always sits next to me with her own gun. She has a blast and its not hard for her to hit targets because she can fire rapidly. Occasionally her arm gets tired and she watches me shoot... but that happens to me too![]()
That's not an abuse of the line. A group of 50 could stand in the single rider line as long as they are willing to sit separately. Abuse of the line would be getting in it and then still insisting that they have to sit together. It works that way on all the single rider lines, like Soarin' for instance.
Now different is nice, but it sure isn't pretty, pretty is what it's about
I never met anyone who was different who couldn't figure that out
But beautiful, I'd never live to see
But it was clear, if not to her, well, then to me.
blah blah blah blah
I truly appreciate anyone posting waiting info in this thread, even more so when the time is also given.
A bientot.

We rode Toy Story Mania on Sunday (9/21). Arrived in line at 10:15 am and waited approx 45 minutes to get to the front of the line. Actual time we got on the ride was 11:20 or so though (it broke down when we were the next to be assigned to a seating position queue). We waited it out and they had the ride going again pretty quickly. But I wasn't about to get out of line after waiting 45 minutes.
Side note...had to laugh because as we waited in line, I was telling my DH about Mr. Potato Head losing his ear a lot (told him I read it on the message boards, LOL). Sure enough, when we got around the other side of the line, his ear was on the ground. I guess they haven't fixed that yet, LOL.
I'm glad to hear about the single rider line! Do they also have fastpasses?
no fastpasses--and the single rider line isn't always open
If I go down, I'm going down fat and full.

I was there Sunday, probably around 3PM and we "abused" the single rider line. Waited 15 minutes tops. Regular line as 45minutes or more.
We rode Toy Story on 9/18 and 9/19 with a fifteen minute wait each time. We were on Nemo on 9/17 and waited fifteen minutes also. It was towards park close.

Yesterday, around 4pm, the board off of main street said the Nemo wait time was 35-40 minutes, & it's usually pretty accurate in my experience.
