Candlelight Processional and other questions

We are planning a trip to Disneyland starting on December 7th and lasting the whole week. From what I've read it sounds like some people plan their trips around the Candlelight Processional. If the Processional is during our trip will this mean more crowds?

Also, I wanted to know if the Electrical Light Parade is closed during this time of year?

The Electrical Parade will be on Hiatus, so not available.

Early December is light, now the Town Square area of Disneyland (near the Main Entrance) will be busy on December 6th and 7th due to the event (from around 2 PM to 9 PM), and then Disneyland closes early on December 8th and 9th from Cast Member parties (but DCA remains open later).

The answer to both questions is most likely "No". Crowds won't be huge. Disney plans the Cast Parties for a slower time, and the parties are expected to be held the 8th and 9th. But, the chances of ELP are slim to nil.
