General event details

Parking:

• 5/23 - Pumbaa lot opens at 9:30 p.m. for people who want to camp out overnight. There is no shuttle service until 8:00 a.m. on May 24
• 5/24 - Mickey and Friends and the Toy Story Lot open, with tram/bus service, at 5:00 a.m.
• 5/24 - Guests who carpool (three or more people in a car), arrive after 6:00 a.m. and park in the Toy Story, Pumbaa or Simba lots, the Anaheim Convention Center or the Mickey and Friends Parking Structure will get a free button.

• Subject to park capacity limits, the event is open to single- and multi-day ticket holders and all levels of Annual Passholders except SoCal Select. Blockout day tickets will be available for sale to those APs.
• Cast Member Main Entrance Passes and Company IDs are blocked out, though CMs who want to enter the event can use one of their comp tickets for admission.

• All guests will receive an event button when they enter either park, while supplies last.
• Logo shirt - available at Emporium, Star Trader, Showcase, Pioneer Merchantile, Elias & Co, Tees Hats & Tattoos, and World of Disney. Also available at Disneystore.com May 24-May 27.

So my son gave me the pancake mould last year and I finally remembered to use it tonight. Needless to say, it didn't work very well. I got the batter poured in but then it was stuck in the mould. I had to run a knife around the edge to get it out. Does anyone have any tips to making this actually work?

I was at the Mad T Party last night and I noticed the crowds for the band has gotten larger in the past year. Has anyone else noticed as well? People were actually sitting around to wait for the band to come on stage, svaing space for friends and really cheer for the band. It is like a rock concert in the middle of DCA. On top of that, people wait for the next set as soon as the previous set is over.

Can you order over the phone the leather snap bracelets you buy in Frontierland? The colored or twisted ones you can put names and such on? My son's GF is graduating next month and mentioned wanting one.

Here's a nice documentary about how important Carnation Plaza was to lots of people throughout the years.. And on a side note, swing dancing will return for 2 nights in the near future.. This Friday May 24 and also June 15 in the new Fantasy Faire Royal Theater.. Management will make a decision as to whether swing bands will return every Saturday evening depending on crowd size and other factors.. This video may influence you to hit the dance floor..

I just got a "special calendar edition" of the Backstage Pass, it says it's a tribute to classic attraction posters.

Dumbo is on the front, it's a Fantasyland poster.

The calendar is May - December with an attraction poster for each month, and a few extras. Very cool and unexpected, I enjoyed flipping through it.

Since I have an AP I didn't know the answer to this. We are going down Sat June 8th to watch Iron Man 3 and then getting up early Sun for rope drop at DL to go straight to the Iron Man exhibit. Our friend wants to know if she can buy her DL tickets for Sunday Sat night. If not. How early does the ticket booth open on Sunday? Thanks!

I remember a thread quite a while ago about some fiction books that take place in Disneyland. They are for adults, not the kids Kingdom Keeper series. I have tried search but can't find anything. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? I want something to read and need a Disney fix. I thought these would help with both ;). I think they are mystery but can't remember exactly. I was at the library and was asking the librarian but she didn't know. She tried really hard to do a book search but couldn't come up with anything, even on Amazon. I really hope someone on here remembers.
