HI - My apologies, I haven't been keeping up with things but I'm wondering when (possibly!) the new Avatar themed land might be slated for (what year, even)? Some long-range planning going on in my family... :)

Some wealthy Manhattan moms have figured out a way to cut the long lines at Disney World by hiring disabled people to pose as family members so they and their kids can jump to the front, The Post has learned. The black-market Disney guides run $130 an hour, or $1,040 for an eight-hour day.

My daughter waited one minute to get on Its a Small World the other kids had to wait 2 1/2 hours, crowed one mom, who hired a disabled guide through Dream Tours Florida. You cant go to Disney without a tour concierge, she sniffed. This is how the 1 percent does Disney.

The woman said she hired a Dream Tours guide to escort her, her husband and their 1-year-old son and 5-year-old daughter through the park in a motorized scooter with a handicapped sign on it. The group was sent straight to an auxiliary entrance at the front of each attraction.

Disney allows each guest who needs a wheelchair or motorized scooter to bring up to six guests to a more convenient entrance.

Coupled with the GAC abuse, this is getting out of hand. Disney really needs to find a way to crack down on people faking injuries or hiring disabled people just to get past the lines.

Night of Joy, Halloween & Christmas Party Tickets Now Available

Tickets for the fall special ticket events at the Magic Kingdom are now on sale.

This year’s Night of Joy event will take place September 6-7, from 7:30 p.m.-1 a.m. nightly. The event features contemporary Christian rock, pop and gospel music, plus use of favorite Magic Kingdom Park attractions. This year’s lineup includes: MercyMe, Michael W. Smith/Steven Curtis Chapman, Skillet, Audio Adrenaline, Mandisa, For KING & COUNTRY, City Harbor, We As Human and Moriah Peters (September 6); and TobyMac, Newsboys, Francesca Battistelli, Matthew West, Group 1 Crew, Building 429, Jamie Grace and Plumb (September 7). Single-day tickets start at $55 per person.

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Parties return to the park September 10, 13, 17, 20, 24, 27 & 29; October 3, 4, 6, 10, 11, 14, 17, 18, 20, 22, 24, 25, 27, 29 and 31; and November 1. From 7 p.m. to midnight, guests can enjoy trick-or-treating throughout the park, attractions, special Halloween-themed entertainment and much more.

Then Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party will take place November 8, 11, 14, 15, 17, 21, 22; and December 1, 3, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19 and 20. Parties include special holiday-themed entertainment, including a parade and fireworks, Disney characters in holiday attire, and much more.

Disney Visa Free Dining in September [now available to all]

The next Free Dining offer for UK residents was announced last week, and now we have details of a new offer for Disney Visa Cardholders. This new promotion offers free dining for visitors who stay at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel and check in from September 2 to September 25, 2013. You must stay at least three (but no more than 14 nights), and purchase a 2-day or longer Magic Your Way ticket for every member of your party. Travel must be booked by July 31, 2013.

Stay at a Value Resort, and you'll receive the Quick Service Dining plan for free. You can upgrade to the Standard or Deluxe dining plan by paying the difference.

Stay at a Moderate, Deluxe or Deluxe Villa Resort, and you'll receive the Standard dining plan. You can upgrade to the Deluxe dining plan by paying the difference.

This offer excludes the campsites at Fort Wilderness, the Little Mermaid rooms at the Art of Animation Resort, and all 3-bedroom Villas.You must book the same tickets and dining plan for every member of your party. Children ages 3-9 must order from the children's menu where offered; children under age 3 are not eligible for free dining. Full details available on the Disney Visa website.

At the moment this offer is limited to Disney Visa cardholders, and you must use a Disney Visa card to pay the deposit of $200 when making your reservation. It has been widely speculated that a public version of this offer will be released after May 9. If you are interested in this promotion and have a Disney Visa card, you should consider booking as soon as possible to have the best selection of dates and resorts.

Cardholders can also receive a free dining plan with the purchase of a 5-night/6-day room and ticket package for select hotels with arrivals between September 2 - September 25, 2013.
