This isn’t quite the By the Numbers report I expected to provide this week. Wine & Dine still has spots available and the big mover was the 2013 Walt Disney World Marathon (and that was only a 3% bump). The good news is if you have been a major procrastinator you still have time to sign up for any or all of the upcoming WDW runDisney events!

2013 Expedition Everest Challenge – May 4, 2013

The official registration opening date is still TBD but expect to see seeing more information coming in November or December. The 2012 event opened registration on December 13, 2011; we’ll provide an update as soon as we have more information.

No registration updates to report as of yet. Can’t wait to see the 5th anniversary medal; you know it’s going to be one you will regret not getting if you don’t sign up so why not get it over with now?

As of July 23rd, runDisney is reporting registration for the 2013 Never Land 5k has reached 59%. It’s still moving along at a good pace and should still easily sell out faster than the inaugural 2012 5k event.

2013 Goofy’s Race and a Half Challenge – Saturday January 12th & Sunday January 13th, 2013

Continuing on a snail’s pace, runDisney is reporting registration for the 2013 Goofy is now at 87% capacity. We’re still easily on target to smash last year’s sellout time; let’s hope the pace picks up in the next couple of weeks!

Would you be surprised to hear that we had yet another 2% increase this week? As of July 23rd, runDisney is reporting capacity for the 2013 Walt Disney World Half Marathon is now at 65%.

This must have been what everyone was signing up for at the Rock n Roll Chicago expo. runDisney is reporting that registration for the 2013 WDW Marathon jumped 3% in the past week and is now at 75% capacity. I wonder how many first-timers like me are signed up just so we can get the 20th anniversary medal…

Here’s a surprise. I thought for sure that we would be at capacity for the 2012 Wine & Dine Half Marathon but we moved just one 1% since our last update. We’re up to 96% which is great but after all the craziness at the RnR Chicago runDisney booth, I thought this one would be done and gone.

Looks like we finally had a busy registration week! Last week we reported it took a month for registration to move 2%. This week runDisney is reporting a 2% jump in less than a week; we’re now up to 60% capacity.
