This is what I get for waiting too long to post the other update--things have changed! Most are small increments, but Tinker Bell is at the stage now where it's filling quickly, so delay registration at your own peril!

2013 Princess Half Marathon – Registration opens July 10, 2012

Calling all Perfect Princesses! It’s been five years since the inaugural Princess Half Marathon and it’s
time to celebrate the anniversary. Registration for the 5th annual Princess Half Marathon opens July
10 at 9:00 a.m. PDT / 12:00 p.m. EDT and will set you back $140 if you register prior to September 25.
Registration closed just a week prior to the 2012 event; will the lure of an anniversary medal be enough
to drive registration faster for 2013?

2013 Disney Royal Family 5k – Registration opens July 10, 2012

Saturday morning in EPCOT is always fun and it’s even more enjoyable when the park is only open
for Disney Royal Family 5k participants. Registration for the 2013 event will set you back $55 ($60 if
you bring a wee one in a stroller). While runDisney always keeps the theme of the 5k a secret until
registration is already in full swing, I’m going to be BRAVE enough to shoot a Bodkin point in the
direction of Merida and the Brave Pixar bunch. Any other options you can think of?

2013 Tinker Bell Half Marathon – Registration opened June 12, 2012
Continuing on record pace, capacity for the 2013 Tinker Bell Half Marathon has now reached 81%. For
those of you keeping score, registration jumped from 72% to 81% in seven days. I think it’s safe to
say that runDisney has a HUGE West Coast hit on their hands! We’ll see if the pace continues once the
Princess Half Marathon opens July 10 and/or we reach the first price increase on July 18.

2013 Never Land 5k – Registration opened June 12, 2012
Still no update to report. Keep in mind runDisney does not report registration capacity numbers until at
least 50% has been reached.

2013 Goofy’s Race and a Half Challenge – Registration opened April 10, 2012
As of July 2, runDisney reported the Goofy Race and a Half Challenge has reached 84% capacity. A 1%
jump in a week isn’t great but at least it’s still moving. Even with the slow week, we’re still on target to
close much earlier than in 2012.

2013 Walt Disney World Half Marathon – Registration opened April 10, 2012
We’ve picked up two percentage points since our last check a week ago. As of July 2 nd, runDisney is
reporting registration for the 2013 WDW Half Marathon has reached 59% capacity. I will say it will
be hard to beat the special 15th anniversary medal in 2012 but I’m sure runDisney will do their usual
outstanding job at giving us something we all want to add to the collection.

2013 Walt Disney World Marathon – Registration opened April 10, 2012
As of July 2, registration for the 2013 WDW Marathon has reached 66% capacity. Wonder if we’ll see
an uptick in registration when the special 20th anniversary medal design is released. Can’t wait to check
it out!

2013 Disney Family Fun Run 5k (WDW) – Registration opened April 10, 2012
As of July 2, still no registration numbers to report for the 2013 Disney Family Fun Run 5k.

2012 Wine & Dine Half Marathon – Registration opened 3/13/2012
The pace may be slowing but we are edging closer to hitting full capacity for the 2012 Wine & Dine Half
Marathon. As of July 2, runDisney is reporting registration is now at 82% capacity. We are just over
two weeks from the final price increase which means if you continue to dawdle it will cost you an extra
$25 (from $160 to $185) if you decide to register after July 18. Come on – that will buy you half a really
nice runDisney shirt!

2011 event sellout time to beat: 3 months, 28 days (the Relay sold out in 4 months, 17 days)

2012 current registration duration as of July 2: 3 months, 20 days

2012 Mickey’s Jingle Jungle 5k – Registration opened 3/13/2012
As of July 2, still no registration numbers to report for the 2012 Mickey’s Jingle Jungle 5k.

2011 event sellout time to beat: 6 months, 17 days

2012 current registration duration as of July 2: 3 months, 20 days

2012 Disney’s Happy Haunted 5k Trail Run (part of the inaugural Twilight Tower of Terror 10 Miler
Weekend) – Registration opened 2/14/2012
As of July 2, registration for the 2012 Disney’s Happy Haunted 5k Trail Run remains at 56% capacity.
