Carrousel: Soft Reopening

Yesterday, April 2, a freshly-spruced-up King Arthur Carrousel had a soft opening following a near-seven week refurbishment–its most extensive in five years. The rehab is officially scheduled to last until tomorrow.
In addition to a full refinishing, work reportedly was also performed on Doubloon, the gold-toothed horse, whose crankshaft (according to one cast member) cracked under the weight of one portly passenger.
Still absent is the lead horse, Jingles, which will be dedicated to Julie Andrews (presumably when she visits the park for a book signing Tuesday, April 8).
