Registration for the 2014 Walt Disney World marathon weekend opens tomorrow, and runDisney has announced some changes to make the event better for participants. They are reducing the number of participants by 2,000 (mainly in the half marathon), and they are expanding the number of corrals to decrease crowding on the course.
Runners will also need to submit proof of time before November 1, 2013 in order to be placed in their properly-paced corral; changes will no longer be permitted at the expo.
Finally, as previously discussed on our message board, women-specific shirts will be available for the first time in addition to the men's cut shirts.
The following runDisney video outlines these upcoming changes.
If you decide to register for one of the events, be sure to check in on our Team MousePlanet message board so you can keep up to date on all of our meetups.
