  1. What Will Club 33's New Address Be?

Since, according to Disney folklore, Club 33 derives its name from the restaurant’s address on Royal Street, Disneyland has decided to retain the address as it relocates the restaurant’s main entrance.

A shiny new “33” plaque has been produced in the sign shop and will be installed in time for the club’s July 18 reopening following a six-month makeover.

But there’s a catch. Club 33’s existing entrance is located between the Blue Bayou (31 Royal Street) and Le Bat en ...
  2. Dumbo Double Dare Training - Week Nine

Ping. Buzz. Ping. Ping. Ping. Even over the noise of thousands of runners, the unmistakable sound of interval timing devices could be heard during the Rock n Roll Seattle Half Marathon last Saturday. As evidenced by the number of users in the crowd, Jeff Galloway hit on the right idea when he introduced his run/walk/run program.

And it’s so easy. You go and buy a timer, set it for your interval cadence, and head out on the road. Couldn’t be easier, right? But as I was reminded time ...

  3. Waterpark Coming to Disneyland Area

Disney’s off-again/off-again plans to build a waterpark near Disneyland are about to get some competition. Construction has begun on a Great Wolf Lodge indoor waterpark resort a mile south down of Disney’s proposed site on Harbor Boulevard.

I know the Big Bang Theory link above has been shared previously on Team MousePlanet but given last week’s incredibly fast sell-out of the Star Wars Half Marathon Weekend events, it’s a scene that bears another view. If you haven’t yet watched it, Sheldon, Leonard, Raj, and Howard are trying to secure tickets to Comic Con via the web and are having little success. Welcome to the joy of online registration. They must have been using Active.com... ...
  5. Laughing Stock Company Packing Its Bags

Six months after Billy Hill and the Hillbillies got the boot, the Laughing Stock Company is also about to be evicted from Disneyland’s Golden Horseshoe.

Although there’s been no official confirmation, a source in Entertainment reports July 8 will be mark the final performances of the longtime comedy troupe inside the ’Shoe. Starting July 9, a new “interactive” show will take their place.

Laughing Stock performers have found jobs at other shows throughout the resort, ...
