  1. Holiday fireworks "test"; ElecTRONica added 11/11

It looks like today is shaping up to be an especially "entertaining" day at the Disneyland Resort. We already knew that the final performances of "Celebrate... A Street Parade" are today at 3:00 and 6:00 pm, but cast member friends tell me that Disney has decided to ADD an extra night of ElecTRONica tonight starting at 6pm, AND show a 'test' of Disneyland's holiday fireworks at 8:40pm. Combine this with the rumored return of the Maleficent dragon during tonight's performances of Fantasmic, and you've ...

  4. Disneyland About to Choke on Holiday Bottlenecks

    by , 11-08-2010 at 07:54 AM (Realityland's David Koenig)
Disneyland cast members are bracing for crowd control nightmares beginning this Friday, with the debut of its Believe holiday fireworks show at an earlier hour that will tempt thousands of guests to migrate, en masse, from one bottleneck to the next.

Instead of the usual fireworks start-time of 9:35, Believe will kick off most nights at 8:40—and on some nights as early as 7:30. Fantasmic, meanwhile, plays at 9:00 and 10:15 p.m.

  5. Disneyland's Dirty Little Secret

As you might remember, I had one full day to cover both parks in California. Normally, it might be somewhat of a lost cause, but with a cooler and overcast day and a bit of preparation, I was able to have a very casually paced day and see 23 attractions including World of Color.
