I'm pretty excited about the new, and as yet unannounced, DVC resort at the Contemporary. Although, I'm not enamored by the name, Kingdom Tower. I think I'd prefer the more simple approach - something like Contemporary Villas keeps with the established theme, at least to me. I think I've never blogged before and I'm really uncertain how difficult it will be. I've always had a lot to say but, deep-down, I'm not really sure anyone wants to listen. I think I just returned from a Disney World trip in January... and it already seems like it was years ago. It's amazing how quickly the real world comes back. I'm jonesing to return but the next trip isn't scheduled until October, when the wife and I will attempt to eat our way around the Food & Wine Festival's ...
And that's it. Probably the shortest shareholder meeting in recent memory, except for possibly the blizzard-shortened Denver meeting. Nothing really exciting happened, so I guess I made the right decision in not making the cross-country flight to cover it. We'll analyze it a bit more on the MouseStation Podcast next week, but I don't know if we'll do a whole show on it, or even do a wrap-up article on the main site.
The other questions I'm just going to put together in the interest of speed. One question asked why High School Musical wasn't filmed in New Mexico, since it supposedly takes place there. A kid asked whether there will be a Ratatouille 2. Iger said that Pixar is working on Wall-E and Toy Story 3, but that they're not working on Ratatouille 2 yet. They also told him to "come see us before you leave" and they'd get him a Remy toy.
