I got into the race on a second chance email from Nike after I had already registered for the NJ half marathon the following weekend, but I couldn't pass it up. I went into the race knowing that I would take it easy since my goal was to run for time in NJ. The race "Expotique" and packet pickup was a in a tent set up along the Potomac just down the street from Nike Georgetown. For the past two years, Disneyland began proactively overhauling the fall-protection systems on its attractions to improve employee safety.
