  1. Walgreens at Disneyland?

    The backstage pharmacy that will become part of Cast First Aid will open late this summer.

    Called “The Pharmacy for Living Well,” the facility “will bring the convenience of a fully functioning pharmacy onsite, directly to Cast Members. The pharmacy will offer Cast Members 90-day prescriptions at mail order pricing, personalized pharmacy consultations, deeply discounted over-the-counter products, and on-site health coaching,” according to the latest Disneyland Line.

  2. Queasy Cast Members, Get Lost!

    The latest cast member joke making the rounds at Disneyland is that if you feel ill at work, whatever you do, don’t go to Cast First Aid.

    Only it’s no joke. Employees have been instructed by management not to visit the shiny new first aid facility except for serious work-related injuries or illneses. The new policy is that sick cast members are to be automatically sent home.

  3. Disneyland to Open a Pharmacy

    For the first time since Upjohn vacated Main Street in 1970, Disneyland is getting its own pharmacy.

    The old Upjohn Pharmacy, which opened in 1955, was themed as a turn-of-the-century retail store, but it was just for show; guests couldn’t buy medicine or fill a prescription (although the clerks did hand out free vitamins).

  4. Next Stop for First Aid

    Disneyland employees upset that they’re losing the last of their lockers (www.mouseplanet.com/9999/Parking_Lost) and that Cast Member First Aid has cut back on its hours (www.mouseplanet.com/9861/Graveyard_Shrift) have just learned that the park is making it even tougher on workers who get injured: Cast Member First Aid will relocate to the lockers’ more distant second-story location above Cash Control.
