  1. Angry Disneyland Guests Call Out Grumpy

    Perhaps unsurprisingly, considering the challenges of staffing Memorial Day Weekend’s 24-hour party, guest complaints against cast members jumped in the days following the event.

    As reported at this week’s Mickey’s Roll Call (the daily briefing for management), a lot of the notes were of the “he was less than helpful” and “she was a little grumpy” variety.

  2. Disneyland to Open a Pharmacy

    For the first time since Upjohn vacated Main Street in 1970, Disneyland is getting its own pharmacy.

    The old Upjohn Pharmacy, which opened in 1955, was themed as a turn-of-the-century retail store, but it was just for show; guests couldn’t buy medicine or fill a prescription (although the clerks did hand out free vitamins).

  3. Next Stop for First Aid

    Disneyland employees upset that they’re losing the last of their lockers (www.mouseplanet.com/9999/Parking_Lost) and that Cast Member First Aid has cut back on its hours (www.mouseplanet.com/9861/Graveyard_Shrift) have just learned that the park is making it even tougher on workers who get injured: Cast Member First Aid will relocate to the lockers’ more distant second-story location above Cash Control.
