Realityland's David Koenig

Random Disneyland and Walt Disney World tidbits too time-sensitive or inconsequential to cram into a formal article.

  1. Guardians of the Galaxy: Motion Sickness Breakout

Early prediction I've heard from cast members coming out of previews for Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout... a lot of guests are going to get sick. Certainly, several preview riders stumbled out feeling nauseous.

The cabins in which the guests sit go through more motion compared to the original Tower of Terror, plus throw in lighting and sound effects.

Some operators suspect the ride will be toned down after a few months of operation, similar to how Indiana ...
  2. Queasy Cast Members, Get Lost!

It joins "Mouse Under Glass: Secrets of Disney Animation & Theme Parks," which was released in both formats last year. More titles will be released next year. ...

Today is the release date of my first new book in five years—also known as the first book I’ve ever written that only marginally concerns Disney. It’s "Danny Kaye: King of Jesters," an in-depth look at the life and career of the star of "White Christmas," "The Court Jester," "Hans Christian Andersen," and "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty."

I take you behind the scenes during the creation of these and the rest of his wonderful roles, ...
