    Free dining has returned to Walt Disney World. Disney Rewards Visa cardholders can book now, while the offer will be extended to the general public on Sunday.

    As it was last year, the deal will be a split-level offer. Guests booking a stay at a value resort will receive the Quick Service Dining Plan, while those booking moderate, deluxe or deluxe villa accommodations will receive the standard Disney Dining Plan.

  2. Third bus accident in two weeks at Walt Disney World

    Just before noon today, the Walt Disney World bus fleet was involved in its third accident in twelve days when a bus driven by 81-year-old Fredrick Cassens failed to stop and ran into the back of an SUV driven by 47-year-old Mark Sigman of Ohio. The impact pushed Sigman's SUV into a Disney van driven by 20-year-old Brianna Berry.   3. Coming soon to Walt Disney World - Monthly Payment Annual Passes

    Sources at Walt Disney World tell MousePlanet that the monthly payment plan first offered to Disneyland Annual Passholders in late 2008 will be extended to Walt Disney World Passholders later this year. The official announcement is expected sometime next week, when Disney is also expected to debut a new Annual Passport that will be valid at both the Florida and California Resorts.

  4. Tables in Wonderland adds more restaurants for 2010

    Tables in Wonderland, the discount dining program available to Florida residents ($100) and Passholders ($75), has added 11 new restaurants for 2010. The program gets members a 20 percent discount on all food and beverages at participating Walt Disney World restaurants, as well as opportunities to attend special dining events.

  5. Cast member dies from injury during "Epic" rehearsal

    Monday night, a cast member was injured during a rehearsal of the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular at Disney's Hollywood Studios park, and later died from the injury.

    The performer was performing a tumbling roll when the injury occurred. He was transported to the hospital by paramedics, but he died later that night. Disney notified the Orange County Sheriff’s Office and OSHA of the accident.
