  1. 2010 Atlanta Gift Show: Final Day

My final day at the Atlanta Gift Show included a stop by the Precious Moments showroom to look at their new releases. PM has definitely slowed the pace of new Disney figures for 2010, with only two new introductions announced for Spring (another Monster's Inc. figure and their first Lion King sculpt).

Two additional figures (a boy holding a Mickey Mouse doll and a girl holding a Minnie Mouse doll) will debut in April at participating Hallmark Gold Crown stores, before being released ...
  2. 2010 Atlanta Gift Show: Day 3

Today was another full day, covering the new wing of building 2 plus all of building 3. Though I logged over 5 miles today and viewed hundreds of vendor booths, I didn't spot a single new Disney product anywhere. 4. 2010 Atlanta Gift Show: Day 1

My next few entries will be detailing my visit to the Winter 2010 Atlanta Gift Show, the first major "market" event for the gift industry for the year. The Los Angeles show has really collapsed over the past few years, with most of the major manufacturers I buy from abandoning that show in favor of Atlanta or Dallas. Until the fledgling Las Vegas show really gets going, West coast retailers have the choice of shopping the ever-shrinking LA show, or making the trip East. So, for the third year in ...
