  1. New iBook: Lessons From Epcot

    BookCover.jpg

I'm very excited about my newest ibook, Lessons From Epcot: In Leadership, Business and Life. When Epcot was first dedicated, Card Walker noted: "EPCOT will bring together the 'best thinking' by men and women from the world's creative centers of industry, government, universities, and the arts."

That "best thinking" is what this book is really about. You won't walk away with new solutions in bio synthesis, solar energy, ...

  2. Viva La Hacienda y La Cantina del San Angel!

Last night Epcot celebrated the bicentennial of Mexico with the opening of La Hacienda and La Cantina del San Angel.

  4. Mostly Uncrowded at Disney Hollywood Studios on 4th

MousePlanet Staff reported a fairly uncrowded scenario at Disneyland on the 4th. While I wasn't at Epcot or the Magic Kingdom, I was shocked at how few cars there were in the parking lot at Disney's Hollywood Studios. In fact, as of 2:30 p.m. they had started on their second lot, although the first was not near being filled. In the middle of the day it was walk on to The Great Movie Ride. When we left towards 9:00 many were coming in for the fireworks, but that doesn't compare to other weekends. ...

  5. Royal Dano's Return to the Hall of Presidents

In an interview during the Hall of Presidents press event, Kathy Rogers, senior show producer for Walt Disney Imagineering, discussed the possibility of using Royal Dano's voice again in the revised Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln show coming to Disneyland.

What his narrative might be remains to be seen. In this show, Abraham Lincoln offers the Gettysburg Address, believed to be picked up off of original recordings made for the LP Record originally done for Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln. ...
