Getting to the Princess Half Marathon expo via car just got a little more complicated. Downtown Disney has the East Side bus drop (the Disney Marketplace / first stop for hotel buses) shut down during the Princess Half Marathon weekend for construction. That means EVERYONE is now using the West Side / Pleasure Island parking and bus drop/pickup location. I was down there tonight and it was a zoo! If by chance you haven't been following the fun this morning on the Team MousePlanet forum, the Dumbo Double Dare, runDisney's newest challenge event, sold out in 60 minutes this morning after opening at 80% capacity. As you can imagine, the runDisney site experienced extremely heavy volumes this morning and seems to be having connection issues since the 9:00 a.m. opening. As of 10:00 a.m., the 10k is at 75% and the half is at 52%.

As you may have heard, I was ‘knee-capped by a speed bump’ around 8.5 miles into the inaugural Twilight Zone Tower of Terror 10 Miler.
