I just learned that longtime Disneyland Operations and Merchandise manager Jack Taylor passed away in April at the age of 87.

A native of Carl Junction, Mo., Jack started on Opening Day on the pre-Storybook canal boats. He was promoted to foreman of the Jungle Cruise in 1956, moved to Holidayland two years later, and would eventually work most every area of the park.

Jackís favorite memory was of rigging a Jungle boat with fluorescent lights and taking Walt out on a ...

One stunt car (red) is supposed to drive out of a second-story window onto a ramp built inside a converted semi truck. The red car is followed immediately by a black chase car.

  5. Dumbo Double Dare Training - Week Ten

You find out by trial and error what the optimal level of training is. If I found I was training too hard, I would drop it back for a day or two. I didn't run for five days before the sub-four-minute mile. ~ Sir Roger Bannister

Can you believe we are entering Week Ten of Dumbo Double Dare training? In just eight short weeks, we will be toeing the 10k start line in Disneyland. I donít know about you but I canít wait Ė I am seriously jonesing for a runDisney weekend right now! And not ...
