  1. Walt Disney World Monorail Route Modifications in February and March

    The Walt Disney World Resort Monorail System will undergo refurbishment that will impact the Resort and Express monorail beams on select days in February and March.

    The modified routes will be in effect on Feb. 3-5, Feb. 9-12, Feb. 23-26 and March 2-5, 2015 from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. During these times, Monorails on the Resort beam will travel between Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and Magic Kingdom® Park.   2. New adult dining option on the Dream and Fantasy: Petites Assiettes de Remy

    Disney Cruise Line has added a new adult premium dining option to the dinner and brunch offerings at Remy on the Dream and the Fantasy. The new Petites Assiettes de Remy offers a progressive dining option focused on small plates and wine pairings that allows guests to explore the whole dining area at Remy. The program is offered in the early evening on the first day of each sailing, with six dishes from the restaurant's seasonal menu.

  3. runDisney races are now BOYM - Bring your own Mylar

    runDisney has implemented a new policy at their races - mylar blankets (the ones given post-race to prevent loss of body temp) will no longer be provided to race participants with two exceptions. One - if you buy a massage, you get a blanket. Two - if you are injured during the race you may get a blanket (not guaranteed). Wow... how cheap can you get?

    This was especially interesting after the WDW Marathon where it was cool and rainy which sent race finishers on a hunt for a mylar. ...

    As we enjoy the WDW Marathon weekend and look forward to all the upcoming races in 2015, keep in mind that posting a picture of your race bib (with name and number legible) on social media sites prior to the race is an open invitation for a race bandit to print out the bib and run for free under your name.   5. Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend Live Stream Events - Watch Your Loved Ones Finish

    For the first time, runDisney will be live streaming the half and full marathon events this coming weekend. The live streams will be available on the Disney Parks Blog, beginning at 5 a.m. on Saturday for the half marathon and Sunday for the full marathon.
