Can you get Disney Dollars anywhere else, but in the parks? Can they be purchased at the Disney Stores?

I think you can use them for anything, anyplace on Disney property. (Not 100% certain, but nearly certain that's correct)!

You can use them every where in Disney that accepts cash.

Hey Steph...you can get Disney Dollars at the Disney Store. We've been "collecting" DD for birthdays, Easter, Valentines Day, etc for the kids so that they will have their own spending $$ when we get down there in December. My sister-in-law (who has a 6 and 4 year old) and I have been giving them as presents for the kids since they already have everything anyway. And Tori is into saving for the trip so it's a lot of fun to watch them accumulate. As far as I know you can use them for just about anything. We won't be able to use them for the hotel since it's the Dolphin but I am pretty sure you could use them for paying for the room, etc. at a WDW Resort. Better check on that though...not quite sure. We've even been giving them as gifts for Grammy & Oompa too. They are loving it!

Actually Janet is the one who asked me. She wants to get some for the girls and give the D.D. when we are there as Christmas gifts.

When are you guys going? We'll be there from the 14th to the 21st.
