I'm looking for some help.

I am heading to Disneyland this weekend. I planned to drive, but thought i would check the airfares to see what's out there. I always forget, are you more likely to get cheaper fares closer to a trip, or the further out you book?

I'm in the SF Bay Area, neat Oakland or SFO airports. What's a good site to try for some good deals? Maybe around $100 round trip? (Or is that impossible?)

I tried a few myself, but everything was $200+. Thought I would post here just to see if anyone might know any deals I missed.

We will be there this weekend, I found that Priceline was the same price as booking directly thru the airline. We finally decided on Jet Blue, we fly alot but this is our first time with Jet blue. We also found that AAA was cheaper to book our airfare, but I did not care for the airline they were able to book us with. Good Luck!

For last minute deals, I would try hotwire.com. With most airlines, you need to book at least 14 days in advance for the best price. We usually fly Jetblue from Oakland to Long Beach and they have fares as low as $39 each way if you book at least 14 days in advance. I realize that will not help you with your trip this week so I would try hotwire.

in the future, Kayak.com is a great way to compare airfares across airline sites. This late in the game it is pretty expensive but next time it might help.

Virgin America has some flights for $44 each way depending on when you leave.

I just got an email the other day from Virgin for $29 flights between SFO and LAX. I don't know what dates they are for, I deleted the email because I wasn't going to use it.

sign up for the Southwest DING fares. I get fares as low as $37 one way(from SFO, OAK, SMF) all the time. Pretty much daily there is a DING fare. I am in the Bay Area and we have always driven but I am flying next time. LOL
