Okay. Al said in his last update that one possibility facing the Disney corp's future is to promote Eisner to a ceremonial position that would leave him virtually powerless, and promote a man named Dick Cook to CEO. Do I have his first name right?
Anyway, what I want to know is, who is Mr. Cook? I have never heard of him, before. Here are my questions:
What does he do for Disney, now?
How long has he been there?
Where does he stand as far as:
Theme Parks
Imagineering
Animation
Other endeavors (sports teams, television stations, etc.)
The Yin and Yang Factor-- is he more business or show?
Is he a yes-man?
It sounds so political, doesn't it? Ultimately, the board isn't just appointing a new CEO. They may be electing a new king.
