View Full Version : Where do you sleep [on the way to WDW]? jenjustinsmom 04-11-2008, 11:03 AM when you drive where do you like to stop an sleep? GusMan 04-11-2008, 12:33 PM In the back seat, while Mrs. GusMan keeps on driving. But if you referring to what hotel chain I would most likely stay at while driving down, probably a Hampton Inn, Homewood Suites, or pretty much any Hilton-branded hotel. Other than that, Holiday Inn Express would be my next choice. I travel a lot for business and it has made me somewhat picky when it comes to my lodging choices. If I am going to pay for a hotel room, Im going to stay where I can supplement the frequent stay points I get from mt business travels. danyoung 04-12-2008, 07:35 AM I drive from Dallas, and like to get just into Florida, like to Pensacola, before stopping. I used to be happy with Super 8 Motels. But now that I have a little more cash flow, I look for a La Quinta or the like. And I've gotta have free wireless internet, which many places have now (and advertise on freeway billboards!). jerm 04-16-2008, 08:29 AM For this trip, we will be stopping right outside of Washington DC. And we will sleep for 2 nights there. Stopping to visit old friends, and to take my daughter to get her new military dependent ID card. Then we will be stoppung at the Comfort Suites in Savannah GA. ToT34 04-16-2008, 08:46 PM I'm not sure, since I don't know where you are. A hotel would be my best bet. I'd advise taking a bus or train down there and once you're there, there's a hotel in Kissimmee called Econo Lodge Maingate Central. From what I've gathered from hotels.com, it's only $26 a night and has transportation to Disney World. If you insist on driving, and do not wish to waste money on both gas and a hotel, I suggest pulling into a truck stop for the night :3 jenjustinsmom 04-17-2008, 11:17 AM We live just outside toronto canada. i am hoping to drive 7 hours on Thurs. then the rest on Friday. it is all arrange to leave here at 4:30pm.
