I searched on Google all day yesterday and couldn't find any footage of the 1975-? Space Mountain experience. You know how the queue used to be? The RCA dog at the front of the queue; the pictures along the way? Then, remember the original exit experience with the future world sets: the girl on the bed watching music videos, the kid watching the big, big tv screen, watching football? I would love to revisit that experience. Anyone?

Petesimac, I went looking for "vintage" Disneyland ride videos not too long ago on Youtube (still trying to decide between Disneyland and WDW for this summer's vacation) and could have sworn that I saw some old footage from the 70's. Don't remember what other key words I typed in though... might have been "vintage" "original" or "1976". If that doesn't work for you, you could always check out the videos of America Sings (which replaced Carousel of Progress), if you haven't seen them already. Kinda cool to see that animatronics show again, after it has been closed for the last 20 years... Maybe that could be a consolation prize, of sorts...:)

lllmtz, I've seen some stuff from the 70s, but it's Space Mtn. in particular that I was hoping to see, and I know someone has it. Heck, I've seen If You Had Wings on video, and that was back in the late 70s too, so I know it's out there. Hope I can find it.

Oops-- I wasn't specific enough in my last post. I meant to say that I remember finding old Space Mountain footage on Youtube not too long ago-- which could be what you are looking for. I used other key words in addition to "Space Mountain," such as those I mentioned earlier. My suggestion was that if you type in Space Mountain along with "original" or anything else specific to the original version on Youtube... you might find the clip I found a while back. You might even try "RCA dog Space Mountain" or something to that effect. Good luck.
