"Mark This Forum Read" not working?

I've noticed recently that when I click the "Mark This Forum Read" button in any of the forums, it doesn't seem to work. Is it something in my settings that I have to change or is it something in the site?

I'm on an iMac running OS 8.5 using IE 5.1 for Mac.

It works for me (Win98SE, IE 5.5...same thing with WinNT4).

However, the "Jump to First New Post" icon still appears next to threads with new posts even though I "marked this forum read." When I go back to the Forum Listings page it doesn't show the yellow New Posts icon.

(I've just recently...like the past 3 days...started using this feature, so I really don't know how it's suppose to work.)

Bill, now that I go back and really look at what's happening, that's a more accurate description of what I was trying to describe.
