We are going down to WDW for Thanksgiving. I want to make a gift basket type thing for my daughter (3) for our trip. It is technically her 2nd trip down, but this will be the first that she really understands what is going on. My sister is going down to WDW in May, and I was hoping to have her get somethings for me. Does anyone have any ideas on things to get? I want to put in things for her to not only use on the trip, but on the plane as well. Please help me so I can make a list/figure out how much to spend.

Mouse Ears

Have you sister go to the $10 store in DTD and see if she can find some good 'plane toys'. Quite, won't roll, small (but not too small for a 3 year old!).

Stickers/Activity books

Autograph Book and pen

I'm sure they have some variant at WDW, but I once gave my brothers disney themed playing cards for the plane trip down. She might be a bit young for that.....but perhaps a coloring book?

I am all about all of the new Crayola stuff that is Disney related...color wonder type stuff.

Mouse Ears.

A snowglobe, my daughter was that age or maybe younger when he started collecting them.

A disney DVD, good for the plane.

Those are great ideas thanks....

I was thinking of having my sister get a few snacks and things while in WDW too. I'm not sure what will keep well from May to November though.
My list for her so far is: autograph book, pen, bag(of some sort), snacks....
Anything else anyone can think of? She already has mickey ears.

Snowglobes would NOT be good for the plane. They contain liquid, and if it's more than 3 ounces, you can NOT carry it on. If it's 3 ounces of liquid, then you can include it with your other liquids in your one quart zip lock bag per person.

MANY people have had issues with this coming back from WDW, to the point they have a sign on them in the gift shops with the warning that they need to go in checked luggage!

And, they get broken in checked bags. My daughter collects them, so we might attempt to ship some back when we are there. But a friend of mine went to DL and I asked her to grab one for us and she wrapped it really well and it looked like someone bashed Mickey's ears in:( Glitter everywhere:(
