I have ADRs for lunch at Coral reef in Epcot. Can you call the ADR number and request to be seated near the aquarium? I have a 5 year old who is into sea life and I think she would love it....that's why I booked the meal after all.

I'm pretty sure you can only make requests like that when you get to the restaurant to check in. Generally, if you arrive early, then you'll have a better shot at it without any longer of a wait.

That was my plan, but I was reading a review and it sounded like you might be able to request ahead of time. I think we have the first ADR available, so I think we can do it!

I eat there at least once a year, and have never been able to request in advance. I always request a window seat, no matter what the wait. I usually have to wait 20 to 30 minutes extra, but it is very much worth it!

We have an ADR for here when DH & I go in May. Dan do you ever have a weird feeling looking through all the glass that close, kind of like a looking through a peep whole in a door if that makes sense...? Some times it bothers my eyes looking through aquarium glass that close maybe the next row back would be better?

I've only eaten there a couple of times - but I'd think the 'front' row of the second tier might be better for you, KJSJpipe. You're high enough that the people on the first level aren't in your way, so it's like the front row of a balcony.

My eyes aren't necessarily bothered being up close to the thick glass, but I like a little bit of a broader view that you get from being slightly farther back.

I never have that sensation at all. I know that the glass is made of the same PH as the water, and is thus extremely clear and non-distorting. I don't think you'll have a problem at all.
