Just one more question!! :)

On Friday morning Sept, 20th we are checking out early from our hotel in Disneyland and driving to Magic Mt. My question to you guys is, It worth going early in traffic time to make it to Magic M by 10? It should take about an hour, but with traffic who knows! I'm wondering should I wait till after 9:30-10 to leave until the busy traffic dies down. Since I will be visiting Magic Mt for two days.

personally...I say sleep in, eat a nice breakfast and get on the freeway around 10 instead of earlier....you'll end up at Magic Mt about the same time you would if you got on the freeway at 8am....sans the headache of the traffic! When we come down I never schedule our departure for home before 10am and most times we hang out till noon or one to hit that 'window' of "normal" traffic....and since you have 2 days for Magic Mountain why start it off with traffic headaches?

Well, I figured since it takes us about an Hour or so from Magic Mt to Disney I figured it would be the same time going the other way.

Yes, with no traffic, one hour is about right. But that's becoming a smaller and smaller window of time. If you leave at 8am on a weekday, it may very well take you nearly 3 hours (if not more) to get there. So yeah, 10 is a good time to leave.
