Hi, we are just trying to figure out if we should bring our own stroller from home or rent one at Disney? Does any one know the following:

1) Do they recline so the youngster can take a nap?
2) Do they have a little "hood" to block out the sun?
3) Is there a basket to place stuff underneath?

Thanks a bunch!:D

To be honest, I would recommend that you bring your own. The strollers you rent can't leave the park, so no stroller in DtD, or if you rent in DL you cant use it at DCA.

1) No, they dont recline, but they are at such an angle that our little one slept well in them.

2)Yes, they have a hood,,even has a little flap covering a clear plastic 'window' so you can look in on them.

3)Yes, there is room underneath to place stuff.

And while you cant take them from park to park, the reciept can be taken to stroller rental at either park to obtain a new stroller(same day of course).

Have fun! :)

Krispe -- both sides of the argument are discussed in detail in Adrienne Krock's Parenting in the Park (http://www.mouseplanet.com/akrock/) column:

- "Renting strollers at Disneyland (http://www.mouseplanet.com/akrock/akrock2.htm)"

- "Bringing your own stroller to Disneyland (http://www.mouseplanet.com/akrock/akrock3.htm)
