We're glad to be home! The trip was certainly fun, but I don't know that I would ever go again :) We were there from Easter Sunday through Wednesday and the place was PACKED! However, we did manage to see everything we wanted to see. One of my sons was really looking forward to Jedi Training so we got there early and got really good floor seats in the center front. He was wearing his Star Wars t-shirt and he wrote 'Pick me!' on the back of one of my note sheets. He was the 3rd kid picked; about 7 kids later his twin brother was picked as well! That totally made the trip! I got tons of pictures, but their Jedi Certificates were left at the airport. I'm hoping I can contact Disneyland for replacements.

Even though being really busy, we were able to get a couple of the big rides done in the morning and tried to get fast passes for a couple others. Just about all the fast-passes were closed by 1:00 because they were so busy. Most lines were at least a 60 minute wait.

We left the park to go find the Character Warehouse and so glad we did! They really did have reasonable prices and we got a ton of stuff! I even saved $25 with a coupon I found on-line.

We got to see all the parades and Fantasmic, they were all great! The Pixar parade was canceled the first 3 nights we were there, fortunately it was on our last day!

The Candy Cane in was fine, it was packed as well. I wouldn’t say it’s anything to write home about, but it served our needs and were thrilled that we didn’t have to buy breakfast. It was an easy walk to the park, but we did take the shuttle a few times.

We didn’t see a whole lot of characters and the few we did see refused to sign anything. They were all in a hurry which was understandable with how busy the park was. We got a great picture of Jack Sparrow looking in one of the boys’ backpacks for treasure! He also rode the ferry back to land with us.

I have to say the one thing I was really disappointed with was the food choices for kids. Talk about a place designed for kids, they don't really give the kids a lot of choices! They were pretty tired of hamburgers, chicken and pizza (I'm not about to pay $6 for PB&J). I’d say the best snack/meal we had in the park was at Croc’s Bits & Bites, the nachos were awesome and huge! We left the park once a day for a decent meal. I made each of the boys a little backpack to pack snacks and water and that really saved the trip. They were constantly eating and hardly ever asked us to buy anything.

All in all, it was a great trip! All the boys were very well behaved, there wasn't any whining while we waited in line and we had so many priceless moments. I think when the boys get older we'll take them to something like Six Flags where there's more thrill rides. I don't regret the trip at all, I'm really glad we did it; but I just won't go again.

I was there from the 21st to the 25th and you are right, it was PACKED. My son got picked for the Jedi training on Easter morning at the first show and was thrilled! This was his first time ever seeing it and he is a Star Wars FANATIC! Unfortunately his certificate got lost in the packing and I am also hoping to contact Guest Services or someone to get his replacement. He was so sad!

Where did you get the coupon online for the Character Warehouse? We just decided to drive over to Disneyland later in April.

Good report!

I don't know about online but I've seen coupons in the rack in hotel lobbies, also there is a magazine that you can get in your hotel lobby with the Disney calander and tv listings that also had a coupon in it.

My husband and I went on the 31st and we noticed that they only land that was packed was Fantasyland. We breezed through everything else and we finished at California Adventures in two hours. The week that you went is a very busy week due to the holiday and spring break. Don't give up on Disneyland, it's a great place. Try a less busier time, even if it means taking the kids out of school early. They can do their homework in the room or plane. I know that it sounds wrong, but alot of people do it.
