This is a family favorite stop on the way to Yosemite or Southern California, located on Pacheco Pass between 101 and Rt 5, near Gilroy and Hollister. The rolling hills would be a very nice place for a Renaissance Faire!

I dread the traffic on CA-152 during the Faire, though. Especially the one-lane, 40 MPH "double fine zone" from Gilroy to Hollister--it's going to be horrible. Despite the relatively close location, I doubt we'll be going to the Faire this year.

Do you think it would be worse than the motorcycle rally? I am sure it will be slow, and parking will be a hike.

My daughter has free tickets, though. :D
