I saw the report on the WDW update that FW had some updates. . .has anyone stayed there recently? How are they?

We were there in Sept, January and are back the 7th of April...not sure what updates they are? Maybe I can be of help, I'll go see...

There are going to be improvements coming up. They will be redoing the main pool, but nothing has started yet - I was through there yesterday. What has started to happen is they are cleaning up and putting in new landscaping around many of the loops, and they opened a dog run park over on the east side of the Meadows. They definitely had not started any of the campsite improvements when we stayed there in January, and I didn't notice any projects going on there yesterday either.

I just got back from staying there (3/19 through 3/29). While I was there I noticed several smaller projects, like sidewalk repairs, etc. But no major renovations were obviously underway.

Several times during our stay we noticed Disney landscape engineers walking around our campsite discussing landscaping improvements and placing marker flags around. We had a quick chat and they said that it was part of their plan to add more foliage to give a little more privacy to the campsites.
