As I will be staying off site, will I still be able to dine at on-site places especially Beaches & Cream as my ( largish ) party would like to sample the Kitchen Sink. Would hate to be turned away!

OMG I almost went into a sugar coma just looking at that on TV. :) GusMan 03-25-2008, 10:04 AM Oh, I will be sharing pics of TKS as we WILL be doing it this year. (After several aborted (wimped out) attempts. Going to be 6 of us enjoying the sugar glutton fest. jerm 03-25-2008, 12:55 PM I've seen the Kitchen Sink, and it's quite a sight! I can't imagine ever buying one, but my son wants to indulge in it this year! rashiz 03-25-2008, 01:21 PM I would suggest that you try to go during an off time of the day as it can frequently be difficult to get a table at Beaches and Cream during crowded times. Or at least it was in June and they don't take ADR's. My family wanted to try the Kitchen Sink but were deterred by the wait so we got take out ice cream instead. It was yummy. ssmerdel 03-26-2008, 07:03 AM Beaches & Cream was a choice of mine for lunch during our trip, and all I want is the Kitchen Sink! :) I seen the show with Samantha Brown and I have seen pictures of it and all I can say is WOW! There will be four of us: me, DW, DS(11) and DD (6). I know we won't finish it, but we have to give it a try. danyoung 03-26-2008, 07:08 AM You can also book Advance Dining Reservations if you're staying off site. The is highly recommended for the nicer restaurants at the busier times of the day. You can book up to 180 days in advance. Vegitabeta 03-26-2008, 12:02 PM I'd love to try one of these, but there's only three of us and we'd never get through it! Drince88 03-26-2008, 12:22 PM I'd love to try one of these, but there's only three of us and we'd never get through it! That's when you meet up with other people and try it. I love seeing pictures of this. Thanks for sharing. I am an ice cream fanatic and now that our party increased from 4 to 6 for our trip (Grandma and neice are coming), we are definately getting this. I cannot wait! :) KJSJpipe 03-31-2008, 01:19 PM Can you pick and choose Ice Cream Flavors and Toppings or is it a set thing? It sounds like it would be a fun thing to do but I know some of it would not fly with some of the group. |
