A friend of mine is staying at an off-site hotel and we are staying at Paradise Pier (using an AP discount). She has ordered groceries (milk, bread, etc.) from an online service and is having them delivered to her hotel. Is this allowed at Paradise Pier, do you know? And do the rooms have microwaves?
Thanks for your help (from a newbie)!

I don't know about the groceries never tried it, always bring stuff from home but the rooms do not have a microwave. They do have a mini frig. and a coffee maker.

We stayed at the Grand Califonian Hotel in December and I ordered stuff from Albertson's Grocery store online. I had it delivered to the hotel. It worked out well for us. So, I would say that is ok to do. If you order through Albertson's online, make sure you do it no later than 24 hours before you want it delivered.

What a great idea! We are staying at the DL hotel and I am definately going to do this if they allow it. I think I'll call first just to make sure. Thanks!

diz4us, if you do call, let me know what you hear. It sounds like it is ok, though. Now I'm wondering if I can make mac & cheese in a coffee maker...

Usually, the resort hotels are ok with it, but require you to meet the delivery person at the bell desk.
