I know you can do the parent swap, but I was just curious if the CM's allow babies to go on the "no heighth restriction" rides? Fantasyland rides? Can you hold the baby on your lap or is that a no-no? We are planning a trip with a 5 mo. old baby, twin 4 year olds, and a 6 1/2 year old. Any suggestions would be great, but my main question is if a baby CAN go on any rides or not. :)

Absolutely!

Just to warn you: Roger Rabbit does not have a height restriction but they'll tell you that the baby has to be able to sit up alone to ride and can't lapsit. I recommend NOT riding RR with a baby. It's too rough not on a lap. :(

Some CMs will be inconsistent with the lap-sitting rule. I've been on Pooh many times with my kids. We usually go several times in a row because we hit it first thing in the morning when there's no line. I've had times in the same back-to-back rides that they've let me put a baby on my lap - then the next time told me that I couldn't.

I am a big fan of Baby Bjorns. They're great for standing in line and I've been able to carry babies onto rides without taking them out of the Bjorn.

we took our 5 month old last august and had a blast. he went on everything that didnt have a restriction, no problems. he even sat on his own on teh teacups (but then again he could sit up by himself, so sitting alone wasnt an issue for us).

he loved all the rides and the characters.

When our son was 3 months old his first ride was Haunted Mansion. 3 years later and its his favorite!

We took our daughter when she was about 5 months old. We went on small world(she loved it!!) We went on all of the dark rides except snow white(that one freaks me out!) and several others. We also took her in the Tiki room and she loved that too. We took her on the mark twain winnie the pooh, etc...
Have fun!

Thanks everybody for the quick responses! What a relief to know we won't have to parent swap on every single ride......
