1. THE INCREDIBLE JOURNEY

White sharks are truly remarkable travelers. Working with our research
partners at Stanford University and beyond, we've documented journeys
that take adult white sharks from California to Hawaii.

The three juvenile white sharks we've placed on exhibit travel long
distances, too. Our first made it to Santa Barbara within 30 days of
release; our second to Cabo San Lucas in 90 days.

Now we're getting early reports on our third white shark--reports that
you can track online every day. Just 44 days after his return to the
wild he's safely rounded Cabo San Lucas and is headed toward waters off
Mazatlán. We'll get a full report on his diving patterns and other
information when his pop-off tag reports back in early July.

He's equipped with a second tag that sends us his position each time
his dorsal fin breaks the surface. Those reports are updated online and
mapped at the Tagging of Pacific Predators website.
