Hi, I was just wondering, when DH and I went to DLR 2 years ago, we never saw Donald except in the POD. He is my DH's favorite character and were really hoping to get a picture of him with Donald. Is it true that he has a meet 'n greet in ToonTown?
I really want to increase our chances of seeing him in August, so DH can have a picture with him. Thanks! :)

The best plan to meet any specific Character is to go to the Wait Board at the Hub (Near the entrance to Adventureland) and ask. The Guest Releations CM can call a special number and give you some good information on when and where to look for the character.

The Fab 5 do spend a lot of time up in the Town Square area in the morning, but they usually rotate in and out, and the CM at the hub can give you some good general times when you will find them.

Donald is hard to find. My kids and I found him right by the fire station last July. I was lucky to get there picture with him, he didn't have alot of people around him at that time. Good Luck:)

If you go to City Hall you can ask the CMs there where specific characters will be and at what time. Worked awesome for us during our last trip as DD wanted to meet Peter Pan. Ended up being able to do a game of musical chairs with Pan the Man, Alice, White Rabbit and the Mad Hatter. AWESOME!!!

Last time I was there, Donald was having a meet 'n' greet in ToonTown. He was in the Gazebo area over by the Jolly Trolley station.

We always get to see Donald everytime we go to Disneyland! Each time we see him, he's always in the Town Square area in the mornings!! Hope that helps.

My 7 year old son and I got a photo with him inside the Opera House in the waiting area for the 50th Anniversary movie. Not such a good one of me, but great of the kid so I had to buy it. Donald is also his favorite character.
