A lesson to check, check and double check. Last night I bought 8 2-fers at my local Von's. I was a little worried that with such a large stack an error might occur, but I didn't really pay attention. To the clerks credit she pointed out to retain the activation slip and bring it with the gate just in case--good tip.

So this morning I'm looking at the slip and guess what? Only 7 cards were on it! So I went back today and paid for and got the 8th one activated. Imagine if I had gone to the gate without having checked. Yikes.

I'm in no way blaming the clerk. The point is always check your hotel and restaurant rezs and everything else. Use a checklist.

We use Yahoo calendar, because it's free and easy to share. In addition they have a notepad that can be accessed anywhere in which you can create a checklist.
