Do you think I will need PSs for lunch at Storytellers? It would be for a weekday in May. We just walked in and there was plenty of room last August but I can't remember if that was near noon or closer to 2:00ish.

I like this restaurant and I want to make sure to hit it, I am just not sure what time we will be ready for lunch on that particular day. (the eternal problem with lunch PSs, if you ask me!)

Thanks!

I would, if you show up early and they don't have a wait you'll be able to sit right down anyway. If you show up early and there is a wait they may honor the PS early so they you won't wait as long as a walk up. I always figure it doesn't hurt to make one even if you don't use it.

I don't know if every one of the restaurants will honor this but twice now we've been a couple minutes late for our PS (most of the time we're early) and the hostess has taken us both times because it's not a hard reservation, it's a priority seating.

good info, guys. I guess I will split the difference between my susspected "early" lunch time and the late one and make a PS for that.

Here's what I always find when I make a PS for lunch...I wish it were a half-hour later!!! It seems as if I'm always rushing to get to where I have the reservation, and that I'm always at the furthest point away from that restaurant!

So, play a little game with yourself...say to yourself your PS is at 1:00 PM, but make the actual reservation for 1:30PM! That way, you'll be pleasantly pleased when you arrive at 1:15 PM!

Enjoy!
