Does anyonw have a clue what they are going to do with the unfinished half of POP? I was on another site...and there were so many ideas as to what was going to happen. One was that they were going to turn those into family suites (I had heard that one too), another was that they were just going to tear them down. It would be a shame if it was never finished...wouldn't they need to rename the resort as well. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I'm really curious too.. I just watched a YouTube of that section from last April, I think it was, and it looked scary like something that was once there. Does anyone know what it currently looks like? Are the weeds 9 ft tall now?? :confused:

A past WDW Update from April 2006 (http://www.mouseplanet.com/articles.php?art=wd060410mg) stated that they would become all suites. However, at that time construction dates were not known. Not sure if plans have changed much since then, but from the viewpoint of the casual observer, the building remains untouched.

And the YouTube video that was previously mentioned was very interesting. A rare look indeed.

And while I hope this building does get up and running as suites sometime soon (as there is an obvious demand for them from reading the boards) like anything else Disney, nothing is ever set in stone till the first guest checks in.

Does anyone have any updated info. on The Legendary Years? Just curious if they've been working on it.

I dont think there is any new news. In April, we went past there via the DME bus and it looks like they are using the parking lot for LY for storage of construction materials. Cant say if it was intended for the LY buildings or not.
