This may be a silly question, but I was wondering if there are actual Peter Pan and Wendy characters at Disneyland. We are planning a visit for November and my 3 yr. old son is totally into Peter Pan right now. He watches both movies over and over again and keeps asking me if we'll get to meet Peter Pan when we go there. I was hoping that someone who goes to DL a lot would be able to tell me the best place to meet those Neverland characters.

I have seen Peter Pan, Captain Hook and Smee by the flag pole on Main St. and also by the castle. I see Hook a lot more than Peter. The only place I have seen Wendy is during Fantasmic, but perhaps someone will correct me on this (btw it's a wonderful sight to see Peter and the gang on the Columbia and my very fave part of the show.)

When you get to the Park, try asking at the info booth near the hub to see if any Neverland characters are out that day. If not, a few trips on Peter Pan will help lessen the disappointment ;)
but if you value your sanity, ride it FIRST thing in the morning.

I've seen Peter, Hook or Smee in various parts of DL. In town square, in the Hub. near the castle, near Ariel's Grotto, in the Small World Mall, near the teacups........ it seems they roam. I was standing in line for the Canal boats when Pan literally back-flipped by with Hook chasing him. It was great. Often times Hook will be chasing Pan throughout the park. I rarely see them just signing autographs (although it does happen).

We were over by Dumbo and ran into Peter Pan. He didn't have a crowd around him and spent a lot of time with my son, doing the autograph thing and pictures. If you make it over to DCA, there is a Peter Pan boat with Captain Hook doing the sword fight thing during DEP. But I agree with Lisa that it is really neat to see them during Fantasmic on the Columbia. I don't think I 've ever seen Wendy out greeting in the parks.

I have never seen Wendy at DLR...but she is at WDW...I have great pictures of her with my girls.:D

The last 2 times we were at DL we saw Peter Pan and Captain Hook sailing with the Columbia.

We also spotted Captain Hook doing the autograph/picture thing near the AAA stand at the front of the park. My son who is 4 wouldn't go near him and made his older sister get the autograph.

My son also loves to play Peter Pan and wants to dress up like him for Halloween. Maybe I'll be a giant Tinkerbell.....;)
