I just read a post on Trip Advisor about a daycare at the Grand Californian that is open until midnight. Has anyone tried it or know any info about it (like cost)? Do you need reservations? Thanks in advance!

It is called Pinnochio's Workshop. You can check out Adrienne's report on it at http://www.mouseplanet.com/akrock/ak010706.htm

If you are staying at the GC, you can make reservations. If you stay at DLH or PP, it is same day reservations if available only.

Remember that the article Malcon10t linked to is a few years old so prices have changed. :)

We have used the Fullerton Childcare Agency on several occassions and have really enjoyed them - well the boys have. They do have a four hour minimum - at $48 (for up to 2 kids), and last time we used them (Sept '07) it was $10/hour for up to 2 kids. Every time we have used them, we have had the pleasure of having Midge be our sitter. She is the owner of the agency and is very nice. They're pretty flexible with hours - and you can be as creative with your date time as you want!

We did an all day date to Knotts Berry Farm (our boys were 3 & 5 - and we wanted to do the thrill rides) - so we made sure there was adequate food for snacks and provided money for them to order pizza for lunch. My boys had a great time just in our hotel room with her.

The number for the Fullerton Childcare Agency is 714-528-1640.

Hope this helps!

Actually you can schedule in advance if you are at any of the DLR hotels, or at least it was that way last year. We stayed at the PPH and had no problems making the reservation 3 weeks or so in advance. We ended up cancelling since my BIL showed up as a surprise for the kids, so we spent the day with him instead. I believe it is $13 per hour??

The agency sounds perfect! Are they recommended through the DL resort? Our boys are 3 and 5 and I just saw the min age for Pinocchio's workshop is 5. I will definately look into the agency! Thanks again:)
