Hi, Do you think the disney Mickeys Meal plans are a good idea? I am looking at the 6 day meal plan. Do these work out as good value? I cant understand whats really included in these from the Disneyland website.

thanks :)

They are NOT a value. Basically, all you are doing is prepaying meals, and often it will cost you more. The vouchers don't get change if you don't spend the whole amount. So, if the snack is a churro, you have to buy 2 and supply an additional $1 to get the full value of the voucher. If you are doing it to prepay and don't expect discounts, fine. But, most here do not recommend the vouchers for Disneyland.

That and food in and around the park is very convenient. Since the resort isn't as big as WDW you don't need to plan when and where to eat. Everything is within walking distance and only a few restaurants require advanced reservations. There are plenty of off-property choices as well, all within a short stroll of the resort.

What would you consider "must see" restaraunts at DLR and if they require booking ahead?
