Disney has posted the new details of the race. No reg yet but we get tech shirts:) Bad news is it won't start until 10:00(just like last year). For us slower people who will take over 2 hrs, it means only 30 min of "partying" at DHS

We invite you if you dare to join us on October 25, 2008 for a running event that lies beyond the fifth dimension, beyond the deepest darkest corner of the imagination. The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror™ 13K was the first night race in the Endurance Series at WALT DISNEY WORLD® Resort.

The details:

Registration will be opening soon for the 2008 event.

No details on improved entertainment? IMO not worth it to do the race, especially as you say with the short time for partying afterward. I hope to hear that things have improved, so anyone who does participate, please report back!

I will be there for sure as have air and DVC set. I am more looking forward to Food & Wine. I will let everyone know if they have improved over LY.

A race at Disney is hard to pass on:confused:

I am disappointed in the $85 fee and no DVC discounts. It will cost $170 for DW and I for an 8 miler:eek: That means it will cost $50 more than last year:confused: I will just do F&W and skip the race. Especially not knowing where I will be physically from surgery and don't want to waste $170.
